Jack-a-picking. Jack-a-pumpkins. Jack-a-bought-them. Jack-a-dorm. Jack-a-cutting. Jack-a-gutting. Jack-a-scooping. Jack-a-gloves. Jack-a-marking. Jack-a-carving. Jack-a-lantern. Jack-a-love. Justis Ward is a Georgia native whose writing, more often than not, speaks to the agonizing beauty of suffering. He has poetry and flash fiction that are forthcoming in Lullwater Review and Quibble Lit. Justis is currently pursuing an MFA in Creative Writing from Lindenwood University and hopes to teach at the collegiate level following his graduation.
